4.2. OPERATION USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Point the remote control at the air conditioner indoor unit receiver.

The remote control must be less than 8 metres away from the receiver.

There must be no obstacles between the remote control and the indoor unit
receiver.

Do not throw or drop the remote control.

Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight or place it close to heating
appliances or other sources of heat.

Use alkaline and not rechargeable batteries.

Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not intending to use it
for an extended period of time.

When there is no signal transmission to the indoor unit (accompanied by a
beep) or if the transmission symbol does not appear on the remote control
LCD, the batteries must be replaced.

If pressing the remote control buttons results in a reset, the batteries must be
replaced.

The batteries should be disposed of properly, in compliance with local
regulations.

The images refer to the remote control in general and show almost all
the buttons of the different functions available. These buttons may be
slightly different (depending on the model).

The following images refer to when the batteries have been inserted
for the first time or have just been replaced. In normal mode, only the
symbols in use are displayed on the remote control LCD.
