It is recommended to keep the station adjusted so the sensor is located on the user’s eyes level. Move the guide block along the guide frame to adjust the height. Set the guide block to one of 13 positions.

Initial setup When the station is powered and started, sequentially tap the upper left corner of the display 5 times to access the service menu. A password window will appear after the 6 taps (Fig. 7). Once the correct password is entered, the service menu will be available for the initial setup procedure.

The process is identical for both local and remote servers’ setup. Go to Account (Fig. 16) and tap Add new device button.

The final temperature measurement is calculated using an algorithm. Results might differ from a pyrometer, which measures temperature in a single spot on the face.
