Outdoor Unit Noise Countermeasures (outdoor Quiet mode function) This function reduces the operating noise to lessen the noise produced by the outdoor unit. When this mode is selected, noise reduction is given priority during operation, and the outdoor fan mode and compressor operating frequency are restricted (to approximately 80% of capacity).

CAUTION When disconnecting the hose, pressure will be applied from the refrigerant in the outdoor unit. Follow the instructions in “8-3. Dry Core Cleaning” and perform dry core cleaning of the outdoor unit that failed. 8-3.
