Delta DIGIVOX-2V2 Quick Start Manual

DIGIVOX-2V2 is a passive, power-independent system that connects a computer to a radio.
It is designed for digital modes that use the sound card as a modem.
Interface features:

You can buy ready-made DIGICAB-1 cables dedicated for radios equipped with a Kenwood 2-PIN K

type connector, which is mostly used by manufacturers like Baofeng, Anytone, Kenwood, Woxun.

When a sound signal of appropriate amplitude appears on the audio output of the sound card (SP),
the Q1and Q2 transistors are opened, causing the DIGIVOX-2V2 PTT output to short to ground.
The transistors operate in the Sziklai pair configuration, which allows to lower the minimum value
of the audio signal output from the sound card and improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
