DIGIVOX-2V2 interface connection method for other radios equipped with a Kenwood 2-PIN
type K connector, most often used in radios of brands such as Baofeng, Anytone, Kenwood, Woxun, etc.
Connector pins:
To start the radio's PTT from the outside, the "S" masses of both pins should be shorted. Not all radios
work properly in open collector configuration eg AnyTone AT-D878UV. You can then use the optional
connection shown in the figure below: a capacitor with a value of several microfarads and a resistor whose
value can be selected. This ensures compatibility with more radios.
The values of the elements were selected experimentally (R = 150Ω and C = 2.2uF), which ensured proper
cooperation with:
Baofeng UV-5R, UV-82
AnyTone AT-D878UV
The above system was used in ready-made „DIGICAB-1" cables (the resistor and capacitor are mounted
inside the 3.5mm Jack plug).
