Library - Backup

This menu item is used to backup your music library or to restore your library from existing backups.
You can either save a backup onto an external hard drive or onto a network share.
Important note:
In order to avoid loss of data, we recommend that you run backups of
your music library regularly.
You can monitor the progress of the backup in the log. If you click the button »Entire log« the
complete log is shown. If you click the button »Clear log« all entries will be deleted from the log.

This network share specifi es the network drive that is used for a
backup of the xo| one music library. Use the button »Save« to save
the settings or the button »Back« to leave the page without saving.
Enter the IP address or the name of the network resource that you
want to use for the backup.
Enter the path to the network drive on the specifi ed network
resource.
Enter the user name if required for a login, otherwise leave the
fi eld empty.
Enter the password if required for a login, otherwise leave the fi eld
empty.
Choose the type of network share (SMB / NFS / AFP). Usually SMB
is correct.
