The DE3 error code means the lid is not secured. To fix it, close and secure the lid. If the message keeps appearing, unplug the power cord and call for service.

The DE1 error code means the drawer is not secured. To fix it, close and secure the drawer. If the message keeps appearing, unplug the power cord and call for service.

The LG Signature SideKick UWD1CW may not wash a single blouse because the control panel is locked. When the controls are locked, the display alternates between showing "CL" and the remaining time, and the function must be deactivated before other options can be accessed. To unlock the control panel, slide open the drawer, turn on the power, and press and hold the Rinse+Spin button for 3 seconds.
