Frequency
Frequency
(pictures/
second)
• The frequency is constant regardless of
the transfer speed of the card.
• The frequencies indicated are when the
shutter speed is faster than 1/60 and the
flash is not activated.
• The frequency may become slower
depending on the following settings.
– ISO sensitivity (P71)
– Picture size (P78)
– Focus priority (P86)
– Focus mode
• Since the shutter speed becomes slower
in dark places, the frequency (pictures/
second) may become slower.

• Refer to P79 for information about RAW
files.
• When there are no RAW files, pictures
can be taken until the capacity of the card
becomes full. However the frequency will
become slower halfway. The exact timing
of this depends on the picture size, the
setting for [QUALITY] and the type of card
used.

2 The frequency may become slower
because the camera is continuously
focusing on the subject.
• We recommend using the Remote Control
Unit (RC-DC1; optional) when you want to
keep the shutter button pressed fully while
taking pictures in continuous mode. Refer
to P107 for information about the Remote
Control Unit.
• The auto review function is activated
regardless of the setting for auto review.
