4.2 Charging the battery

Damaged power adapter or charging cable
Risk of injury due to electric shock.

Do not use a damaged power adapter.

If the charging cable is damaged, do not use the power
adapter.
Use only the original power adapter supplied by the manufacturer!
Using another power adapter can damage the instrument and the bat-
tery.

Place the country adapter onto the
power adapter.

Connect the power adapter to the in-
strument.

Plug the power adapter into the
power outlet.
ð The instrument is charging. This is in-
dicated by the LED charge indicator
on the upper housing section. For op-
eration and charging duration, see
Technical data, p. 62 .
Status
Battery is charged. Trickle
charging is carried out.
Battery is charging
Battery is almost empty.
Corrective action
You can work with the instru-
ment. The instrument is fully
charged.
You can also continue to work
while charging.
Interrupt your work with the in-
strument.
Charge the battery.
