Use of the engine
If all the connected installations have been earthed, make sure to earth the engine.
• ln order to prevent getting an electric shock because of incorrect operation, the
engine should be earthed. The earth port of the engine and the outside earth source
are connected by a thick cable.
• Never connect the generator to the mains power supply as this may result in
damage to the generator itself or to other electrical appliances in your home.
• Switch off the machine immediately and contact your service center:
• If the generator is making unusual vibrations or noise.
• If the engine is overloaded within the rated load range or it misfires.
• Do not exceed the rated power. The total wattage of the electrical equipment
connected should be considered.
• Do not exceed the fixed current limit of the socket.
• Do not modify the engine for other purposes.
Please comply with the following regulations:
• Do not lengthen the ventilation pipe.
• Keep the dynamo far away from other wires and cables.
• AC and DC electrical sources can be used at the same time. lf you want to do
this, make sure that the total electric power will not exceed the total amounts AC
and DC current.
• When using the generator to power a heating device, keep the heating device far
from the generator.
Use of AC
1. Start the engine, and make sure the indicator light (green) is on.
2. Make sure that the switch of the electrical equipment to be used has been
turned off and that the equipment functions before connecting. Plug the electrical
equipment into the generator.
Note! lf the equipment runs abnormally, the speed decreases, or the machine sud-
denly stops working , turn off the engine immediately, disconnect it from the cir-
cuitry, and examine it to find out the cause of the breakdown.
Output indicator light
Output and overload indicator lights
If the device is in good working order, the output indicator light (green) is on. If the
generator overloads (over 2KVA) or there is short circuit inside the electrical equip-
ment it is connected to, the output indicator light (green) will go out, and the over-
load indicator light (red) will illuminate. The current transmitted to the electrical
equipment will then be cut off. If the red indicator light is on, turn off the engine
and examine why it is overloaded.
Overload indicator light
(red)
Note! After the generator starts up, the red light and the green light may shine
simultaneously. If the red light goes out, it is normal. If the red light still shines, stop
using the generator and contact its supplier.

Use of the DC socket
The DC socket is only for charging the automatic battery (12V).
During the DC operating process, turn the intelligent gas-saving valve to the
"closed" position.
1. First connect the charging cable to the DC socket of the generator, then connect
it to the junction side of the battery.
- ln order to prevent sparks appearing around the battery, first connect the charging
lead to the generator, then to the battery. Removal should start from the battery.
Before connecting the charging lead to a battery installed in a car, first disconnect
the battery's earth wire. Do not reconnect the earth wire until the charging cable is
removed. This will help to prevent a short circuit or spark if you are careless when
connecting the junction side of the battery to the car's frame or body.
Do not try to start the engine when the generator is still connected to the battery or
the generator will suffer damage.
The positive charging cable should be connected to the negative pole of the bat-
tery. Do not confuse the polarity of the charging cables or serious damage to the
generator and battery will be caused.
The battery may emit explosive gas, so must be kept away from sparks, flames,
or cigarettes.
The battery contains vitriol (electrolytic cell), which is harmful. Keep it away from
your skin and eyes.
2.The DC socket can be connected even when you are using AC current. Overload-
ing the DC circuit may make the DC circuit breaker trip (pressed switch springs
back). lf this happens, wait for a few minutes then press the circuit breaker again
to re-set.

Low oil level alarm system
Plug
The oil pressure warning system is designed to prevent the engine being dam-
aged by lack of oil in the crankcase. Before the oil in the crankcase falls to mini-
mum level, the oil pressure warning system will turn off the engine automatically
(the engine switch will be still in the "open" position). Once the oil pressure warn-
ing system has shot off the engine, if you operate the starter again, the oil pres-
sure warning Iight will illuminate, and the engine will not start. lf this happens,
please add oil.
