In case the result is not acceptable, stop using the device and contact customer
care service 24/7 at 1-866-373-2824 for replacement with a new device.
Signs of Deterioration
The meter power is not turned on by inserting test strip.
"Dog", "Cat" and "Control " mode pictures do not appear
when pressing the button repeatedly.
Perform the control solution test. If the control test result
doesn't fall within the control solution range specified on
the strip vial, the blood glucose meter might be
malfunctioning.
Signs of Deterioration
A network of fine cracks begin to appear on the body of
the lancing device.
The formation of small cracks begin to appear on the
body surface of the lancing device.
Any part of the body of the lancing device appearing to
have enlarged slightly as if it has swelled.
Any indication that the smooth surface of the body of the
lancing device has appeared to begin to dissolve or melt.
Any appearance that the surface of the body of the
lancing device has become less-than-rigid or has
softened in any way.
Any part of the lancing device or components that
appears to have become overly brittle as being easily
cracked or chipped.
The appearance of any deformities in the surfaces, curves,
edges or corners of the body of the lancing device or its
components; any appearance of deformity of any part of
the lancing device.
The appearance of opacity or cloudiness in the surface
of the body of the lancing device or components.
Signs of Deterioration
The lancing device cap doesn't perfectly fit the main
body of the device or the lancet holder can't hold the
lancet firmly.
The cocking control can't be cocked back successfully
or the device does not activate when pressing the
button (after cocking).
The ejection slider does not move smoothly or does
not eject the lancet.
