Inserting and Removing Tips Insert Insert tip into the center of the Water Flosser handle, pressing down rmly until the tip clicks into place. Using Mouthwash or Other Solution The Waterpik® Water Flosser can use mouthwash or other solution. In order to prevent clogging, after using a solution other than water, fill the reservoir with warm water, then direct the tip toward the sink and operate the main unit until the reservoir is empty.
