Deck Pro 1, 2 & 3 Gallon Tank Sprayers
Make sure to read all instructions before using this product. Failure to observe
and follow warnings and instructions may result in severe bodily injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING
Improper use of this product may cause serious injury from explosion.
Never spray flammable materials or pressure and gas producing
chemicals. Chemicals can be hazardous when used with sprayers,
read manufacturer's label.
• Do not use caustics or acids.
• Do not store liquid in tank; dispose of all liquids properly.
• Do not let pressurized tank sit in heat or sun due to risk of pressure build up.
• Wear protective eye gear, gloves, and appropriate clothing while spraying.
• Do not stand over top of tank when pressurizing.
• Explosion risk; do not use if tank is damaged or cracked.
• Do not use if hose is leaking or is damaged.
• Do not overfill tank; fill only to indicated capacity.
• Do not pressurize sprayer before ready to use.
• Do not carry sprayer by hose or spray wand.
Two Year Limited Warranty
HomeRight warrants this product for two years from the date of purchase,
when this unit is maintained and operated according to the instructions in
the owner's manual, from any defects in material or workmanship.
HomeRight will repair or replace defective product at no charge and return
postage-paid to you. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from
improper use, negligence, accidents or normal wear and tear. This
warranty is void if this pump sprayer is used for commercial or rental
purposes.
Any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
is limited to two years following date of purchase. Responsibility is limited
to the repair or replacement for defects in material or workmanship.
HomeRight shall not in any event be liable for any incidental or
consequential damages of any kind, whether for breach of this warranty
or any other reason.
Some states do not allow a limitation on how long implied warranties last
or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
CAUTION
How to Use - For use with thin materials only.
1. Unscrew pump by turning blue handle counterclockwise. Pump cylinder can
then be removed from the tank to allow for filling.
2. Pour material into tank opening. Follow manufacturer's directions
for mixing chemicals. Locate maximum fill line. Do not overfill tank.
3. Replace the cylinder and blue handle in the correct position and screw down
firmly. Make sure both ends of hose are tightly screwed into tank and handle.
Note: Avoid getting dirt, grass, and any other objects into the tank, as it will
cause blockage.
4. Pump up the full container until desired pressure for spraying is achieved.
The higher the pressure, the better the spray pattern will be.
5. Depress trigger on wand to start spraying. For continuous spraying, lock
trigger in place by pushing down on trigger, then slide trigger forward into
locked position.
6. Pump sprayer as needed for continual spraying.
7. After spraying is complete, release pressure by pulling out pressure relief
valve until air escapes.
Clean Up
1. Make sure to release pressure from sprayer before removing pump cylinder.
2. Remove pump cylinder and empty out material. Dispose of material properly.
Follow local ordinances and guidelines for chemical disposal.
3. Thoroughly wash and flush by spraying water through handle. A mild
detergent can be added if needed or use manufacturer's recommended
cleaning solution.
4. Make sure spray tip is cleaned and free of debris.
5. Do not tighten pump handle for storage. Store in a dry area.
Troubleshooting
Problem:
• Air hissing and/or leaking
• No pressure in unit when
pumped
• Hard to pump unit
• No spray pattern
• Unit pressurizes but does
not spray
• Liquid is leaking from tank
Solution:
• Tighten valve.
• Replace o-ring in valve stem.
• Check pump body sealing ring
or cup seal, lubricate or replace.
• Lubricate parts with petroleum
jelly.
• Check nozzle cap and o-ring.
Clean or replace nozzle and
o-ring.
• Blockage in hose or fitting
disconnected. Clean hose with
water or air, tighten fittings.
• Discontinue use, empty, clean
and contact Customer Service.
