Safety precautions

Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions listed
below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Warning: When using electrical appliances, basics safety precautions, including the following,
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and material
damage.
1. Read and retain these instructions for future use.
2. Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious injury to persons.
3. Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating.
4. Unplug from electrical supply source before cleaning.
5. The fan should be placed on a flat and stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
6. Do not use in wet conditions or areas of high humidity.
7. Do not insert objects through the bars of the guard.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Unplug from mains if not in use.
10. Do not insert fingers or other objects through the fan guard.
11. Do not use if any parts are damaged or missing.
12. If using an extension cord with this product, the marked electrical rating of the cord set, or
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product. Never use the
plug with an extension cord unless of the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord
13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

1. Position the rear guard over the motor shaft, ensuring that the notches are correctly aligned
and then fixed with the three screws.
2. Align the fan blade with the flat part on the motor shaft, locate fully and secure by tightening the
fan blade screw fully.
3. Position the front guard against the rear guard and holds both guards together and close the
clip then tighten the screw and the nut at the bottom of the guard.
