Operation

Restraining the Side-to-Side
Pivot
As installed, the drag-mat carrier pivots side to side when you
turn corners to better follow the traction unit and protect
the edges of the drag mat. To follow a line or straight edges,
install a clevis pin, washer, and hairpin cotter through the
pivot assembly as shown in Figure 12.

Note: Using this restrained position for operation other than
a straight line is not recommended. The pin should only be
installed to follow lines or straight edges. In most conditions,
