ONLY ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS, OTHERWISE THIS MAY RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE DANGER
TO THE USER.
It is essential to read this instruction manual before you start working with the log grapple.
You should check the machine and the tractor in terms of traffic and operation safety before
each use.
- Mount the machine according to the rules and join only recommended devices of the trac-
tor.
- Pay attention to the warnings about crushing and shearing places when you start the
machine.
- Pay special attention during attaching the machine to and disconnecting from the tractor.
- The travel speed must always be adapted to the environmental conditions. Avoid driving
in mountains and valleys as well as crossing mountain slopes and unexpected turns.
- When driving around curves, take the machine inertia into account.
- Do not leave the machine on a slope.
- The machine can be started up only when all safety devices are placed in securing posi-
tion.
- Check the machine for loose parts before starting work.
- The presence of other people near the running machine is prohibited.
- Caution! The grapples and side shift of the machine operate with high force and can
cause the risk of crushing and shearing.
- Any malfunctions of attached elements (the machine, lighting system) can only be re-
moved when the drive on the machine working parts is switched off, tractor engine is off,
parking brake is engaged and the ignition key is removed.
- Lower the machine to the ground, turn the drive and the tractor engine off and remove
the ignition key before leaving the tractor. Engage the handbrake and secure the machine
from unauthorized start.
- Nobody is allowed between the tractor and the machine until the vehicle is secured
against self-rolling off with a fixed brake or a wedge.
- It is forbidden to go under the machine.
- It is forbidden to deflect, remove or install guards or other safety devices when the ma-
chine is working.
- The permissible slope inclination for work and transport is 8,5˚.
- The machine should be operated, serviced and repaired only by adults (over 18 years) and
familiarized with its specific characteristics, and with the rules of conduct for safety.
- Rules for accident prevention, all basic rules of safety and occupational health and also
road traffic regulations must always be observed.
- Unauthorized changes made to the machine without the permission of the manufacturer
may exempt a manufacturer from liability for any resulting damage or injury.
Noise (LpA): below 70 dB.
Work on the roads
When working on or near roads be especially careful and follow the road traffic regulations.
Equip the tractor with a yellow flash signal and start it.
