FUNCTION PUMP SWITCHING MACHINE
The pump switch is an electronic pressure switch that is installed on the pressure side of the pump and
automatically starts the pump when water is taken and switches off again after removal.
The pump switcher consists of a compact plastic housing with each one input/output nozzle 1" AG and
includes:
• an integrized pressure and flow sensor;
• a special check valve;
• analogue pressure gauge for pressure display in the pressure line;
• a pressure membrane with expansion spring;
• a status indicator with 3 LED (POWER, ON, ERROR) and a control button (RESET);
• Dry running protection detection of the pump;
• Adjust screw to adjust the switch-on pressure;
• 1.5 meter long mains connection line with protective contact plug;
• 30 cm long connection with protective contact coupling for connection to the pump.
• The switch-on pressure is already set at the factory to 1.5 bar and can be set an the adjusting screw
individual between 1.5 and 3.5 bar. To increase the switch-on pressure, turn the adjusting screw
of the switch-off machine to the right, to reduce the switch-on pressure to the left. The setting of
the power-on pressure is infinitely variable. The system only regulates the start-up pressure, but has
no influence on the operating pressure of the system, which depends solely on the properties of the
pump.
• With a flow rate of < 2 litres/minute, the pump switching machine switches with a follow-up time of
approx. the pump automatically for 7 seconds.
• The pump switcher has a small water buffer (rubber membrane and expansion spring)which protects
the pump from too frequent start-up in the case of the smallest leaks in the piping system. We gene-
rally recommend the installation of a dimension-appropriate MAG.
• By the automatic reset function, the system is automatically started several times after an operating
failure to maintain operation as far as possible without manual intervention with the reset button.
• The device can only be operated with clear water. Dirt such as sand, sediments, solids or even small
stones can lead to blockage or soiling of the flow sensor or the integrated check valve and thus lead
to no longer flawless distortion of the installation. In order to prevent the risk of malfunctions due to
blockage or contamination, we recommend the use of an suction sieve in the suction line.
LED „POWER":
Displays the operational readiness of the pump switchgear and the pump.
• Lights up:
• Does not light:
LED „ON"
Displays the active operation of the pump switcher and pump.
• Lights up :
• Does not light :
LED „ERROR"
Displays a dry run of the pump.
• Lights up:
• Does not light up:
Pushbutton „RESET"
• By pressing the button, a possible fault is acknowledged.
• By pressing the button, the pump can be started manually.

- check that all consumers are closed and that there are no leaks.
mains voltage is on;
Mains voltage is not on.
Pump „On";
Pump „Off".
Error is present, pump is stopped;
