IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Read all these instructions before using this appliance.
Keep them for future reference.
WARNING: Do not touch any hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.
DANGER: Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
WARNING: The appliance should only be connected to an earthed
wall socket.
1. Check that the voltage of your appliance is
the same as the voltage of the socket before
plugging it in.
2. Children must not use this appliance. Keep
the appliance and its power cord out of the
reach of children and other people who should
not handle the appliance. Make sure that the
power cord does not hang over the front edge
of a work surface. You should never pull the
power cord to move the appliance or to unplug
it. Do not wind the cord around the appliance.
Do not twist the power cord.
3. Do not mix for more than 2 minutes at a
time to prevent the motor from overheating.
You then have to allow the appliance to cool
down for 30 minutes to avoid overheating.
4. Do not use the appliance if the power cord
or the plug is damaged, if the appliance is not
working properly or if the appliance has been
damaged in any way. Return the appliance to
your nearest authorised service¬ centre to be
examined, repaired and adjusted.
5. If you use the appliance incorrectly, you can
injury yourself or damage the appliance.
6. Always unplug the appliance when it is
left unattended, before assembling it,
disassembling it or cleaning it.

7. Do not immerse the appliance's casing in
water or any other liquid and do not let any
water come into contact with the electrical
connections or contacts. This may cause a
fire or an electric shock.
8. Never put the appliance or any of its parts
near a heat source.
9. This appliance is for household use only.
10. Do not use the appliance outdoors and
always put it on a stable, flat surface and in
a dry place.
11. It can be dangerous to use accessories that
are not recommended by the manufacturer.
12. Only use the appliance for its intended
purpose. The manufacturer is not responsible
for personal injury or damage to property that
has been caused by incorrect use or incorrect
handling (also see the warranty conditions).
13. Always turn the on/off switch to the OFF
position and then unplug the appliance.
14. Never force food or utensils that are too
big into the appliance. This could damage the
blender and is dangerous.
