User Account Control . UAC is a feature included in Vista that helps prevent unauthorized changes to your
computer. (To find out more about UAC, type "user account control" into Vista's Help & Support search field.)
To see if UAC may be the culprit, open the Printers control panel and right-click the icon for your printer. If
there is an option in the menu called "Run as administrator," UAC is blocking you from printing, even if you
