Inspect
the
unit
for
contamination (dirt, stones, etc.).
Check hydraulic hoses and fittings for leaks. Daily
Check and replace one at a time as
necessary. The teeth on the outer edge of
the wheel wear faster and are more prone to
chipping. With daily use expect to replace 5
to 10 teeth per week. (See Replace Cutting
Teeth in this section.)
Lubricate pins so deflector can move freely.
Lubricate pivot pins.
Change gear box oil. Use synthetic 90W
gear oil. Capacity is 1.5 L (1.5 qts.).
Tighten to 176-190 N•m (130-140 lb-ft.) of
torque.
