Introduction Description Models ECT-6 (6 gallon capacity) and ECT-10 (10 gallon capacity) and ECT-12 (12 gallon capacity) electrically powered, self-contained, countertop, tilting kettles. Each model has a jacket of double-wall construction forming a sealed reservoir around the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The reservoir is charged with distilled water and anti-freeze solution. -

Self-Generating Steam Jacketed Counter Tilting Kettles NSTALLATION Installation NPACKING IMMEDIATELY INSPECT FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE Immediately after unpacking the steamer, check for possible shipping damage. If the steamer is found to be damaged, save the packaging material and contact the carrier within 15 days of delivery. Installation Instructions 1. -

Keep away from the discharge tube at all times. Warn others in the area so they will not be startled by the sound. 1. -

Cleaning Self-Generating Steam Jacketed Counter Tilting Kettles Cleaning WARNING Disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning or servicing. WARNING Never spray water into electric controls or components! CAUTION The equipment and its parts are hot. Use care when operating, cleaning and servicing. CAUTION Do not use cleaning agents that are corrosive. -

Ensure that the appliance and controls are not damaged and that it can be safely operated. 3. Ensure the work area of the operator is not slippery and is clear of debris so as to provide a safe workplace. 4. -

2. At exterior rear of kettle jacket remove nut from Air Vent. 3. Insert funnel into Air Vent opening and slowly add the indicated amount of distilled water for: Model Amount of Distilled Water ECT-6 Add 50 oz. (1.5 litres) ECT-10 and ECT-12 Add 100 oz. (3 litres) 4. -
