3. Remove the four screws that secure the palm rest assembly to the computer base.
 
4. Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
 
5. Remove the keyboard (see
 
6. Remove the hard-drive assembly (see
 
CAUTION:
 
7. Disconnect the power button cable from the connector on the system board.
 
8. Lift the locking tab and pull the pull-tab to disconnect the touch pad cable from the connector on the system board.
 
9. Remove the three screws that secure the palm rest assembly to the computer base.
