Installation to different window types

To prevent hot air from outside entering the room, we provided two ways to cover/seal the opening of
your window as much as possible. Please identify if you have a sliding window (A) or a hinging
window (B).
A. Installing the Exhaust Hose
outlet to a sliding window
1. To match the opening of your sliding
window use the Window Cover Extension(s)
by sliding them into the Window Cover Base
Plate.
2. Use at least one Window Cover plug on
each side to fix the Window Cover.
3. Place the Window Cover into the opening.
4. Insert the Exhaust Hose Outlet to the
Window Cover.
5. Slide the window closed so that the
Window Cover is securely fixed.
Warning: Please make sure everything is fixed
properly to prevent
anything from falling out
of the window.
B. Installing the Exhaust Hose
outlet to a hinging window
1. Cut and stick the velcro strip along your window
frame. Depending on your window frame you can stick
them either on the outer (figure 1) or inner part (figure 2)
of your window frame. If possible we advise the second
option as it allows you to close your window more easily
after use.
2. Stick the Window Seals to the applied velcro strips to
cover the opening of your window and connect the velcro
ends of the Window Seals to one another.
3. Open one of the three zippers (to your choosing) that
will let the Exhaust Hose out.
4. Stick the Exhaust Hose Outlet through the zipper
opening.
5. Close the zipper tightly to
close off as much outside air
from coming in.
