RECEIVING/READING MESSAGES
When the pager receives a message, it displays a
message summary with a flashing message marker
( ) to represent the new message. And, depending
on the alert type you selected, the pager alerts you in
one of these ways:
• If you selected the vibrate or any audible alert
pattern (tone or

an alert (vibrates or beeps) for 15 seconds. Press
any button to stop the alert sooner.
• If you selected the chirp pattern, the pager chirps
once.
• If you set the pager to not alert you, the flashing
message marker is your only alert.
