The emitted signal is reflected by the medium and received by the antenna as an echo with modified frequency.

NPT thread In the case of instrument housings with self-sealing NPT threads, it is not possible to have the cable entry screwed in at the factory. The cable gland is therefore covered with a red dust protection cap as transport protection.
