The sign units are usually connected to the airfield power system and made available to other airport power control systems if required, for example ADB SAFEGATE RELIANCE Airfield Lighting Control Systems (ALCS). The sign units are easy to read in daylight, in darkness, and with limited visibility. The high readability is a result of a high quality front panel, a unique painting technique and customized light distribution inside the sign.
