LET'S GET STARTED

Download the Comfort Sync® A3 App
Available at the iTunes App Store and
Google Play. With the mobile app, you can
control your thermostat remotely from
anywhere your smart device is connected.

Connect with your home's Wi-Fi
Having a Wi-Fi connected thermostat lets you
take control of your system from anywhere at any
time with your connected iOS or Android device.

To set up, go to menu > settings > wi-fi >
wi-fi network. The thermostat will automatically
search for the Wi-Fi network in your home.
Select the desired network and enter the
password (if necessary).
You can also manually add a Wi-Fi network
by pressing the "Other" button.

Create an account/login
Once the Wi-Fi has been set up, you are ready
to create an account and take control of your
Comfort Sync®A3 Ultra-Smart Thermostat.
If you already have an account, go to menu >
settings > account to log in.
If you don't have an account, select "Create
new account." Enter your account information
and home address, then tap on "create account."
Remember to check the box that will allow
your dealer to receive service alerts.
A green check mark above the server icon
means your setup is complete.
Now you can access your account at
www.comfortsync.com or through the
Comfort Sync®A3 app on your smart device.
➍ Generate pin
If you have already created a consumer account
through the Comfort Sync mobile app or
consumer web portal (www.comfortsync.com),
then you can use the "generate pin" option to add
the system to your account.
PLEASE NOTE: The "generate pin" option is not
required if the account was set up from the thermostat.
First-time login
The first time you log into your account, the
screen will indicate "No Comfort Sync Detected."
Select the ▼ icon next to your email address.
A drop-down menu will appear. Select "Add
Comfort Sync." When you do this, a pop-up
window will appear on the screen. Enter your pin
number, which was generated by the thermostat.
(To get your PIN on your thermostat, go to Menu >
Account > Generate PIN. Then press "Add.")
Successful setup
When successful, the setup will continue to the
next applicable screen. If you already have an
address associated with your account, you will
have the option of selecting that address or
adding a new one.

Adjustment Control
Modes/Schedules
The Comfort Sync®A3 Ultra-Smart Thermostat provides complete,
personalized control over your home's indoor environment.
Temperature Adjustment
The horseshoe-shaped control on your
thermostat's home screen is the temperature
set-point control. To adjust the set-point, drag
the knob up or down along the horseshoe. You
can also use the "+" or
"-" buttons.
If your system is in heat/cool mode,
use the red knob to control the heating
set-point and the blue knob to control the
cooling set-point.
Schedule Sync
™
Schedule Sync adapts to your schedule.
To enable, go to modes/schedules > schedules
> edit schedules > schedule sync. You can
select your preferred temperatures for up to
four time periods throughout the day by sliding
the blue and red circles along the line on the
screen. Add the Comfort Sync A3 app to your
smart device and your system will automatically
adjust its set points when you are away, saving
energy and money.

Settings
Away Sync
™
Away Sync uses the GPS in your
smartphone to detect when you're
leaving and automatically changes the
temperature to a more efficient setting.
To enable via the mobile app, go to
settings > away > turn Away Sync "on."
The factory default is a 2-mile radius.
To adjust the radius, press the "+" or
"-" buttons under Away Fence.
Allergy Sync
™
Allergy Sync helps to filter your home's
air when allergy levels are high in your
local area. To enable, go to settings >
fan (menu on left) > set Allergy Sync.
Climate Sync
™
Climate Sync monitors humidity levels and
removes excess moisture for cleaner, more
comfortable air. To enable, go to settings >
humidity control > Climate Sync.
