BASIC INFORMATION OF SHOE CLAMP FRAME The types of shoe clamp frame are described below. Use correct type of shoe frame for your embroidery machine. CAUTION: To avoid problems. To use shoe clamp frame, select “Special frame” from frame selection menu. Please note that the following functions will be canceled at “Special Frame” mode. * Frame confirmation (embroidery area of frame) * Auto stop function when frame movement exceeds the carriage limit. ADJUSTMENT OF EMBROIDERY AREA Adjust width of the upper arm to meet size of tongue and embroidery design. Width of the arm should have enough margins for embroidery area. Loosen both side knob nuts for adjustment of arm. Tighten all knob nuts after adjustment. Knob nut Knob nut 60mm 0 ~ 100mm 5mm ~ 5mm ~ ADJUSTMENT OF UPPER ARM Please note that basically the upper arm and the lower arm should be parallel at locking posi- tion. In case the thickness of the material is uneven, use adjusting set screw and eccentric pin to change angle of the upper arm to give holding pressure evenly. INSTALLING THE FRAME When you use Shoe clamp frame or Side clamp frame, please make machine setting according to frame type se- lected. CAUTION: To avoid problems. The machine and / or frame may be damaged if the incorrect frame settings are used. 1. Turn on the power switch. Indicates the selected frame. Selected frame 2. HOOPING SHOES Side of shoes The following is an example to make embroidery on side of sports shoe. 1. Adjust width of the arm to meet size of ma- terial and embroidery design. HOOPING SHOES Tongue The following is an example to make embroidery on tongue of sports shoe. 1. Adjust width of the upper arm to meet size of tongue and embroidery design. Width of the arm should have enough mar- gins for embroidery area. Loosen both side knob nuts for adjustment of arm. 5mm~ 5mm~ Tighten all knob nuts after adjustment. Knob nut Knob nut Upper arm 2. ETC. EXCHANGE SPONGE AND SHEET Sponge and sheet are located under the upper arm and on the lower arm to hold fabric firmly. When sponge or sheet are worn or damaged, please exchange sponge or sheet. 1. Remove the set screw and disassemble the eccentric pin. Lower arm Sheet 2. Remove the upper arm. Set screw 3.
