Use this Manual together with Instruction Manual of embroidery machine for mounting this appliance and for
operating.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Use only attachments recommended
by the manufacturer as contained in this manual.
Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. It causes damage.
Do not modify this appliance.

BASIC INFORMATION OF SIDE CLAMP FRAME The types of side clamp frame are described below. Use correct type of side clamp frame for your embroidery machine. CAUTION: To avoid problems. To use side clamp frame , select “Special frame” from frame selection menu. Please note that the following functions will be canceled at “Special Frame”... -

ADJUSTMENT OF EMBROIDERY AREA Adjust width of the upper arm to meet size of material and embroidery design. Width of the arm should have enough margins for embroidery area. Loosen both side knob nuts for adjustment of arm. Tighten all knob nuts after adjustment. Knob nut Knob nut 140mm 0 ~ 220mm 5mm ~ 5mm ~ ADJUSTMENT OF UPPER ARM Please note that basically the upper arm and the lower arm should be parallel at locking posi- tion. In case the thickness of the material is uneven, use adjusting set screw and eccentric pin to change angle of the upper arm to give holding pressure evenly. -

INSTALLING THE FRAME When you use side clamp frame, please make machine setting according to frame type selected. CAUTION: To avoid problems. The machine and / or frame may be damaged if the incorrect frame settings are used. 1. Turn on the power switch. Indicates the selected frame. Selected frame 2. In case required “Special frame” is already selected, press the and jump to operation no.4. In case selected frame type is not “Special frame”, press 3. Select “Special frame”. 4. Press PA13... - Page 6 INSTALLING THE FRAME 5. Press Iindication of frame type disappears. It means that “Special frame” is selected. When you need to change from Special frame to oth- er type of frame, please powor machine off and start again. Without re-starting machine, machine will move in- correctly.

HOOPING MATERIAL The following is an example for bag embroidery. 1. Adjust width of the arm to meet size of ma- terial and embroidery design. Width of the arm should have enough mar- gins for embroidery area. Loosen both side knob nuts for adjustment of arm. STARTING TO EMBROIDER Embroidery area (HCS2) 1. Press and move the frame to the original : Original point (Start point) point with the 2. ETC. EXCHANGE SPONGE AND SHEET Sponge and sheet are located under the upper arm and on the lower arm to hold fabric firmly. When sponge or sheet are worn or damaged, please exchange sponge or sheet. 1. Remove the set screw and disassemble the Lower arm Sheet eccentric pin. Set screw 2. Remove the upper arm. 3.
