10. Prove sui cavi
•
Prima di intervenire mettere a terra la parte di
!
impianto su cui si deve operare.
•
Quando è prevista l'accessibilità dal retro, prima
di asportare la lamiera di chiusura, chiudere il
sezionatore e verificare che l'unità sia quella cor-
retta.
•
Il collegamento dei cavi per le prove (tensione
applicata e ricerca guasti) modifica le caratteristi-
che dei quadri.
•
Chi esegue prove e/o manutenzione deve operare
nel rispetto di procedure opportunamente compi-
late e approvate.
10.1. Collegamento dei cavi di prova sui termi-
nali dei cavi
– Eseguire le manovre per la messa fuori servizio come descrit-
to al par. 6.2.;
– mettere a terra l'estremità opposta dei cavi e la parte di
impianto su cui si devono effettuare i lavori; la procedura deve
essere seguita da chi esercisce l'impianto;
– verificare che le lampade presenza tensione siano spente;
– verificare dagli oblò di ispezione la corretta posizione degli
apparecchi;
– seguire le istruzioni del par. 9.8. per accedere ai terminali dei
cavi in relazione al tipo di installazione nel locale (quadro
addossato o staccato dalla parete);
– collegare secondo le procedure di sicurezza di chi esercisce
l'impianto i cavi delle apparecchiature di prova al quadro.
Scollegare i terminali dei cavi dal quadro se sono

inseriti nel circuito i trasformatori di misura (TA o
TV).
Accertarsi che le distanze di sicurezza verso le parti in tensione
siano rispettate, tenendo conto della tensione di prova da
applicare.
La tensione massima applicabile nel punto di connessione dei
cavi agli scomparti è di 60 kV c.c.
Le operazioni necessarie per ripristinare le condizioni di eser-
cizio devono essere effettuate nel senso inverso.
10. Cable testing

Before operating, earth the part of the installation to
!
be worked on.
•
Before removing the closing sheets of switcboards
accessible from the rear, close the isolator and
make sure that the unit is the right one.
•
Connection of the test cables (applied voltage and
fault search) modifies the switchboard character-
stics.
•
When performing testing or maintenance opera-
tions, the personnel must strictly observe the pro-
cedures previously drawn up and approved.
10.1. Test cable connection to the terminals
– The apparatus must be put out of service as described in para.
6.2.;
– the management of the plant must guarantee that the person-
nel working on the apparatus always operates on earthed
parts of the installation and cables;
– make sure that the voltage signalling lamps are switched off;
– check the correct position of the apparatus through the
inspection windows
– follow para. 9.8. for the instructions concerning access to the
cable terminals according to the type of room installation
(wall-mounted or free standing switchboard);
– connect the test apparatus cables to the switchboard follow-
ing the safety procedures issued by the plant management.
Disconnect the cable terminals from the

switchboard if the measurement transformers
(either CT or VT) are inserted in the circuit.
Taking into account the test voltage to be applied, make sure
that the safety distance from the live components is fully re-
spected.
The joints between cables and cubicles can withstand a maxi-
mum voltage of 60 kV d.c.
To restore the apparatus to normal service conditions proceed
in reverse order.
