Start-up
1. Place the coffee maker on a level, flat surface.
2. Plug the power plug (1) into a wall socket earthed to regulations.
3. Before using the coffee maker for the first time, conduct one brewing cycle
without coffee and filter.

Operation

1. Turn the filter holder cone (7) right hand out and insert a paper filter of the
size 2 or use the included permanent filter (6). Put the desired quantity of
ground coffee into the filter and push the filter holder cone back into the
machine until it snaps into place and is flush with the housing.
2. Please pay attention to the MAX-Mark on the permanent filter! Fill only ¾
of the filter capacity with ground coffee, if you use paper filter.
3. Fill the desired amount of cold water into the glass carafe (9). Open the top
cover (4) of the water container and fill the water into the container (5). Please
notice the water level marks on the container (3). Close the top cover (4) and
place the glass carafe (9) in the centre of the hot plate (10).
4. Press the ON/OFF button with light indicator (11) to turn the machine on.
Please notice that ground coffee will absorb some water, therefore the coffee
volume is slightly lower than the original water volume.
