Section 4�4—TuneTot Stand
Installing the TuneTot on the Stand
The TuneTot can be mounted to the TuneTot Stand directly, or in conjunction
with the ISOBase™. Below are instructions for the TuneTot and Stand combination.
1.
Locate the Stand toolkit. In it you will find four bolts and four
spike/nut assemblies.
2.
Ensure that you orient the TuneTot Stand correctly, with the
slotted holes in the plinth toward the rear. Carefully place the
TuneTot on top of the upper plinth of the Stand.
3.
The TuneTot bolts directly to the Stand utilizing the inner
bolt holes in the front and the slotted holes in the rear of the
plinth. Align the TuneTot so that the holes in the Stand align
with the receptacles on the bottom of the TuneTot.
4.
Thread all four bolts through the holes and, in turn, into the
Tunetot, and tighten securely with the provided Allen wrench.
5.
Using Wilson's WASP setup method, place your TuneTot. Once in the cor-
rect position, document your setup. Gently lay the TuneTot/Stand on its
side (using furniture pad if necessary to protect the painted surfaces).
Install the four spike/nut assemblies. Return to documented position.

There are four spike protector disks included in the Tool kit,

which can be used for hardwood floors.
7.
Level the TuneTot by adjusting the spike lengths.
Installing the TuneTot on the Stand and IsoBase
For TuneTot on the Stand in conjunction with the ISOBase, follow the in-
structions below.

Remove the four bolts and four spike/nut assemblies from the Toolkit.
9.
Carefully place the ISOBase on top of the upper plinth of the Stand.
10. The ISOBase bolts directly to the Stand utilizing the outer
bolt holes in the front and the slotted hole in the rear of the
plinth. Align the ISOBase, insuring that it is oriented properly
front-to-back, so that the holes in the stand align with the bolt
receptacles on the ISOBase.
11. Thread all four bolts through the holes, into the ISOBase. Tight-
en securely with the provided Allen wrench.
12. To install the Tunetots into the ISOBase, follow the instructions
in Section 4.1. It is par ticularly impor tant to ensure the spike
length is properly adjusted for time domain accuracy at the
listening position (See Section 2).
13. Before placing the TuneTot onto the ISOBase, follow the in-
structions on the opposite page to install the spikes.
