General instructions for use
• Do not overcharge the wine refrigerator. The maximum number of bottles refers to standard wine
bottles.
• Do not place any materials (e.g. aluminium foil) or objects in the wine refrigerator that obstruct the
air circulation in the refrigerator.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots of the wine refrigerator. Damage to the wine refrigerator or
higher power consumption are possible.
• Do not open the wine refrigerator more often than necessary. Do not leave the door(s) open.
• In case of power failure: Do not open the wine refrigerator unnecessarily and do not switch it on
again until after a waiting period of 3 to 5 minutes.
• Keep moisture away from the wine refrigerator, no liquid may leak into the refrigerator (danger of
short circuit).
• Figure
shows an example of some loading options. The loading is model-specific and
depends on the available options.
• Do not store any explosive substance, such as aerosol container with flammable propellant gas,
in the wine refrigerator.
• If the connection cable of this wine refrigerator is damaged, it must be replaced by the Dometic
customer service to avoid danger!
General notes on cleaning and care
• Clean the inner chamber with a baking powder solution (0.5 litre of warm water with 2
tablespoons of baking powder).
• Remove surface dirt with a damp cloth, use a mild cleaner if necessary.
• Do not use sharp, granular or soda-containing cleaning agents.
• Do not use polishing agents.
• Check the level in the water tank regularly. If necessary, fill up to 2/3 with water. Place the water
tank in a position where it cannot tilt over.
• Replace the activated carbon filter every year (if available). When inserting, the activated carbon
filter must click into place.
General notes on decommissioning
• Remove the contents if you are absent for a longer period (> 3 weeks).
• Switch off the wine refrigerator and disconnect it from the electrical supply.
• Clean the inner chamber thoroughly and let it dry out.
• Leave the door(s) slightly open to prevent odours, condensation and mould.
• Spare parts are min. available for 7 years, door gaskets for 10 years.
Disposal
Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever
possible.
If you wish to finally dispose the product, ask your local recycling centre or
specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable
disposal regulations.
