Safety information

DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
The egg boiler may only be connected to a properly installed
and earthed socket with a mains voltage of 220 – 240 V ∼,
50/60 Hz .
Always remove the plug from the power socket before moving
or filling the appliance, in the event of problems, before
cleaning the appliance and when the boiler is not in use!
Never pull on the mains cable ; always pull directly on the
plug itself . Never touch the appliance plug with wet or moist
hands .
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids!
There is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual liquids come
into contact with live components during operation . Should
the appliance ever fall into liquid, IMMEDIATELY remove
the power plug from the socket . Please then contact the
Service Hotline (see section Service) .
Do not use the egg boiler if it is on a wet surface or if your
hands or the appliance are wet .
Position the mains cable
with hot or sharp-edged objects .
Use only easily accessible plug sockets so that you can unplug
the appliance quickly in the event of a malfunction .
Do not kink or crush the mains cable
around the appliance .
Do not operate the egg boiler if the appliance, the mains
cable
or the plug is damaged .
