5. REMOVING SHIPPING WASHERS
The compressor Model 500DH is mounted on
rubber isolators, and is held rigid during shipment
by two sets of shipping washers (refer to Fig. 8-1).
Before compressor starting, remove the
yellow-painted shipping washers, the compressor
should float freely on the rubber isolators.

The compressor Models 750EL and 1000EL are
mounted on rubber isolators, and have no
shipping bracket (refer to Fig. 8-2).
