 Defective components must always be replaced with original repla-
cement parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the safety requi-
rements are fulfi lled.
 When disconnect, please unplug by grasp the plug and not the
cord, do not carry the device at the cord.
 Do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
 Do not move the device during vacuuming or sealing process.

2.3 Sources of danger

2.3.1 Danger of burns

WARNING
The sealing bar gets very hot. Please observe the following safety
notice in order not to burn yourself or others.
 To avoid getting burned, never touch the sealing bar directly after
sealing process.

2.3.2 Danger of fi re

WARNING
There is a danger of fi re due to the event the device is not used
properly. Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers
of fi re:
 Do not set up the device near fl ammable material.
 Keep this appliance away from sources of heat (gas, electric, bur-
ner, heated oven).

2.3.3 Dangers due to electrical power

DANGER
Mortal danger due to electrical power!
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or
subassemblies! Observe the following safety notices to avoid dan-
