Dishwasher detergents, rinse aids and dishwasher salts
Add dishwasher salt:
– prior to using the dishwasher for the first
time,
– when the indicator (2) lights up.

1. Remove the lower dish rack (21).
2. Turn the cover of the dishwasher salt dis-
penser (23) in an anticlockwise direction
and remove it.
3. Upon first use: Add 1.5 l water to the dish-
washer salt compartment so that the dish-
washer salt does not clump.

4. Place the supplied filling funnel (34) on
the dispenser opening.
5. Add dishwasher salt up to the edge of the
compartment. Water may come out; this
is not a problem.
6. Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of
a spoon or similar.
7. Turn the cover of the dishwasher salt dis-
penser in a clockwise direction up to the
stop point.
8. Replace the lower dish rack.
9. Launch a dishwashing programme
straight away or carry out a test run im-
mediately upon first use using (see "Test
run" on page EN-37).
