Press this button for 5 seconds to activate the battery test. “OFF” Key: Press this button to turn off UPS. “ESC” Key: Press this button for 5 seconds to disable or enable alarm “Enter + ESC”: Press both button simultaneously for 5 seconds, the UPS will enter bypass mode.
  • Page 33 6. OPERATION AND PROCEDURE The initial startup must be done by a factory authorized technician or in conjunction with DSPM. PLEASE CALL FOR STARTUP BEFORE APPLYING POWER TO THE UPS! 6.1. START-UP PROCEDURE After making all power and grounding connections to the Emergency Lighting Inverter System; ver- ify that all system breakers are set in the OFF position, and the Manual Bypass Switch (MBS) is in the UPS Position.
  • Page 34 The DSPM difference is the patented ECM which is connected to selected fixtures and/or lamps which allows normal operating parameters to be maintained. In the event of an AC power outage, the fixtures, lamps and/or loads connected to the ECM will continue or immediately begin operating at full-light output for a maximum of 90 minutes (or other run time as required by UL924 egress codes).
