    Saving water and energy • Only start a wash cycle when the dishwasher is full. • While waiting for the dishwasher to be filled, prevent unpleasant odours with the Rapid Wash. • Select a wash cycle that is suited to the type of dishes/crockery and to the soil level of the dishes/crockery using (see the washing program section): - for dishes with a normal soil level, use the Eco wash cycle, which guarantees low energy and water consumption levels.

    Pre-Installation Important Note: Prior to installation and first use the following 4 steps must be followed, failure to do so will void your guarantee: 1. Set the water softener level 2. Add 1.5kg dishwasher salt and fill the salt container with water 3.

    Water Hardness & Setting the Salt Note: The hardness of the water varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits will form on the dishes and utensils. The appliance is equipped with a special softener that uses a salt container specifically designed to eliminate lime and minerals from the water.

    5. Usually, the salt warning indicator light will stop being illuminated within 2-6 days after the salt container has been filled 6.   • Page 17 Detergent Normally new pulverised detergent is without phosphate. Thus the water softener function of phosphate is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt container even when the hardness of water is only 7*clarke. If detergents without phosphate are used in the case of hard water often white spots appear on dishes and glasses.
  • Page 18 Detergent Detergent Dispenser The detergent dispenser is located on the inside of the dishwasher door and is approximately halfway up the door. The dispenser can be filled with either detergent powder or a detergent tablet in compartment A, Filling the Detergent Dispenser Note: observe the dosing and storage recommendations that are stated on the detergent packaging.

The factory setting for the upper basket is set at the highest setting so there is more space for larger dishes/crockery/utensils for both lower basket height.

  • Page 30 Installation The dishwasher must be level to ensure correct closure and sealing of the door. When the unit is correctly levelled, the door should not catch the inner liner on either side of the cabinet. The adjustable feet may be loosened or tightened in order to obtain the optimum levelling of the unit.
  • Page 31 Installation Position the dishwasher next to a water tap and a drain. Ensure the water inlet and drain hoses are not kinked or squashed. The unit must not stand on the mains cable. Note: The appliance must be moved into position by hand Tape the supplied door template (accessory 11) to the rear of the wooden cabinet door or panel.

Ensure the wooden cabinet door or panel weight is a minimum of 3kg and a maximum of 6kg. Note: You may need to fix the handle of the wooden cabinet door prior to fixing the wooden cabinet door to the dishwasher door Install the top hob hooks (accessory 8) and lower hooks (accessory 4) on to the wooden cabinet door or panel with ST3.5 x 25 screws (accessory 3) and ST3 x 14 screws (accessory 1).
  • Page 33 Installation After the wooden cabinet door or panel is installed, the tension of the dishwasher door spring can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting bolt. If the tension is right, the door will remain horizontal in the fully open position and will move to a nearly closed position when the door is raised slightly from the horizontal position.
