Select the Battery Status tab in Mobile System Monitor. If the battery is malfunctioning, the Battery Information fields will be
empty (see below).
NOTE If no communication is taking place between the battery and the computer, it may take up to 30 seconds for the Mobile
System Monitor dialog box to appear. Additionally, depending the operating system, the Mobile System Monitor dialog box may
look slightly different from the image below.

Remove the battery pack from the computer. Locate the barcode, which is near the connector end of the pack. If the number
before the <S> in the barcode serial number is 4 or less, then the battery pack is eligible for replacement (see example below).
If your battery is eligible for replacement, please call the Itronix Technical Assistance Center at 1.800.462.6168 for instructions on
returning your battery pack.
