    Press FN+Rotate to increase brightness and press FN+Security to decrease brightness. Use the digitizer pen /stylus provided with your GoBook Tablet PC like you would use a mouse on a desktop PC. The following common mouse functions can all be performed with your pen: Single-click: Tap once with the pen Double-click: Tap twice with the pen.

    The operating system and most programs are stored here. Your GoBook Tablet PC identifies the hard disk drive as drive C. Optional External Drives The GoBook Tablet PC has PC Card slots in addition to three external drive options.
  • Page 14 Calculate memory size by adding the size of the memory module to the existing built-in memory. For example: 128 MB (module) + 128 MB (built-in memory) = 256 MB Total. If you add memory to your GoBook Tablet PC it will automatically detect the change in capacity when it restarts.

    Your computer has a Security Slot that can be used with a standard laptop locking device, such as a Kensington Lock. You can connect the GoBook Tablet PC to a large object with the lock to prevent theft of your Tablet PC. See the documentation that comes with your lock for more information.

Power Management The Itronix GoBook Tablet PC uses dynamic power management ( DPM ) so you can reduce the amount of energy used, especially during periods of inactivity. Effective use of power management options can greatly conserve and extend your battery life.

    Battery Calibration will take from 10 to 16 hours, depending on how much power the battery may already contain.     Use of external devices, the media bay and wireless radio causes increased battery consumption. If a second external battery is attached to your GoBook Tablet PC, this battery will begin charging once the main battery is fully charged.

Power Button On the Advanced tab of Power Options the Power buttons dialog box allows you to set different actions to take when the power button is pressed. You may have the Tablet PC standby, hibernate, or you can shut down the computer altogether.
