When Are Battery Charge LEDs Active?
The battery charge LEDs are active at different
times:
Scenario
You connect the
9570 Portable Dock to an
external power source.
There is no external power
source.
and
The 9500 Portable Phone is
powered off.
There is no external power
source.
and
The 9500 Portable Phone is
first turned on.
You remove the handset
from the cradle.

LEDs do not light when no battery is installed.
LED Status
LEDs continuously indicate
battery charge status.
LEDs do not light.
LEDs light continuously
until the
9570 Portable Dock
completes its turn-on and
synchronizing activities.
After synchronization, the
LEDs indicate battery
charge status for twenty
seconds. (The LEDs then
turn off to conserve
energy.)
LEDs indicate battery
charge status for eight
seconds.
