Charging Batteries

To charge batteries:
1. Insert the 9570 Portable Dock batteries.
(Refer to "Installing Batteries in the
9570 Portable Dock" on page 24.)
2. If you want to charge the
9500 Portable Phone's battery, make sure the
phone is docked. (Refer to "Docking and
Undocking the Phone" on page 34.)
3. Connect the 9570 Portable Dock to an
external power source. (Refer to "Connecting
to an External Power Source" on page 23.)
Battery Charging Order
The 9570 Portable Dock charges batteries in this
order:
• 9500 Portable Phone Battery
• Battery 1 (at the top of
the drawer, nearest
the top end of the
9570 Portable Dock)
• Battery 2 (at the
bottom of the drawer)
If the 9570 Portable Dock is plugged into an
external power source, it draws its power from that
source rather than from batteries.
