When the 9570 Portable Dock is first turned on, you
may see:
Message
Searching ...
Rotate
Antenna
or
Orient
Antenna
Registering
Enter PIN
Invalid Batt.

Using Your 9570 Portable Dock
Description
The unit is attempting to establish
communication with the satellite
network.
Make sure the antenna has clear
access to the sky.
You also hear a tone when you see
these messages.
The unit is registering with the
satellite network. When the process
is complete, you will see
Registered
.
Enter the four- to eight-digit SIM
card PIN supplied by your service
O
provider, and press
to proceed.
If only the phone's SIM card is
inserted, enter the PIN for that card.
If a SIM card is inserted in the
9570 Portable Dock's auxiliary SIM
card slot, enter the PIN for that card.
An unapproved battery has been
detected in the phone or the
9570 Portable Dock's battery
drawer. You can use the battery for
power, but you will not be able to
recharge it.
Turn off the unit. Make sure a SIM
card is properly inserted in either the
9570 Portable Dock's auxiliary SIM
card slot or in the
9500 Portable Phone.
