- Page 6 The size of ball race is generally identified with inner diameter in inch. Not like other conventional remover, the C-440 holds a ball race from over, therefore in this instruction manual the applicable size of ball races are indicated by outer diameter in metric.
- Page 7 Set the chuck cover loose enough not to contact the ball race and claw of the chuck. １ １ １ １ Lay the C-440 and hold horizontally. Insert the fork into the C-440. To insert the fork deeper, turn the handle counterclockwise.(Fig 1)
- Page 8 Is this tool applicable to rigid fork ? Generally, the size of ball race installed on a rigid fork is rather small for C-440 ( even with smallest collar ) and there could be a little rattle between the ball race and the chuck.
