10. Weak battery/peaceful sleep
When the battery is low, the smoke alarm indicates this by a repeated beep and flash for a period of
approximately 30 days. WARNING NOTICE: This smoke alarm is equipped with a non-replaceable
battery. Replace the device as soon as possible when this warning message appears! The acoustic low
battery warning signal can be muted for ten hours by pressing the test button. In this mode, the smoke
alarm is still functional and able to detect smoke.
11. Error reporting mode
If the smoke sensor is not functioning correctly, it switches to error reporting mode. Try to clean the smoke
alarm (see the "Maintenance" section), or replace it! If the buzzer is not functioning correctly, the device
switches to buzzer error reporting mode. In this case, please contact the manufacturer immediately or
replace the smoke alarm.

12. Night mode

This smoke alarm has an automatic night mode. In dark rooms, the LED signal is dimmed to avoid
disturbing your night's rest.

13. Maintenance

• This smoke alarm is equipped with a self-test mechanism.
We recommend testing the smoke alarm manually using the test function at least once every three
months. The loud beep confirms that the smoke alarm is working correctly. Ensure that you are always
an arm's length away from the device when testing due to the volume of the alarm. If the smoke alarm
does not produce an acoustical signal, it must be replaced immediately!
• Clean dirt, dust or deposits from the smoke alarm at least once a month. Use a vacuum cleaner with
a soft brush and vacuum all sides and covers of the smoke alarm. Do not remove the top cover of the
smoke alarm to clean the inside.
• Do not attempt to repair this smoke alarm. If the smoke alarm exhibits a functional defect, it must be
replaced!
• Troubleshooting: False alarms are often caused by dust or vapours.
14. Sabotage function/Dismounting
This smoke alarm has a sabotage protection or an extraction protection. The function is activated by
removing the pin from the mounting plate using a tool. If this
sabotage function is activated and you want to remove the smoke alarm,
take
a screwdriver and push it into the mounting hole. Then rotate the smoke
alarm anti-clockwise to remove it from the bracket.
