    OPERATION Instrument Delivery System Functions WARNING: Maximum additional weight that can be added to the control is 3 lbs. Do not exceed the maximum weight capac- ity. Flush Function This is a momentary toggle that flushes out the handpieces with water when activated. Hold the handpieces over a suitable container and activate the toggle to flush the handpieces and water lines for at least 20 seconds.
  • Page 7 OPERATION Testing and Adjusting Instrument Delivery System Ensure that the Master On/Off toggle is in the “OFF” posi- tion. Turn on the manual air and water valves (located at the utilities) inside the left side panel door. Make a visual and audible inspection for leaks.

To adjust handpiece air, locate drive air adjustment stems and install handpiece to connector. Activate foot control (see Foot Control Operation) while observ- ing the reading on drive air pressure gauge.

    CABINETRY FUNCTIONS Control Panel Electrical Supply WARNING: The total electrical capacity for the cabinet is listed at 12 amps., 15 amp. circuit breaker service. Ensure optional equipment that is plugged into the outlets does not exceed 12 amps. Turn power supply ON to the installation site. Turn power ON at the control panel master pow- 4 amp.

    CONTROL PANEL FUNCTION The control panel is located in the upper center section. • YEAR/MONTH/HOUR/MIN: Press and hold M switch (E) for three seconds. Once display flashes, This panel controls power to the auxiliary equipment press the U (F) and d (G) switch to set.

    CLEANING, DISINFECTING & STERILIZATION Equipment can be cleaned with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. A variety of surface disinfectants are available for use in dental treatment rooms. Some of these can cause discoloration of painted, plated or anodized surfaces with repeated use.

    CLEAN WATER SYSTEM Maintenance The water bottle system is designed to optimize the quality of water being delivered to the handpieces and syringe. The Clean Water System has three functions: 1.     CARE OF THE UNIT Asepsis Automatic Control NOTE: Some models may not come equipped with the handpiece control head.     ADJUSTMENTS Instrument Delivery System Tension Adjustment: Using a 3/32” Allen wrench, loosen the set screw (A) lo- cated in the pivot arm. Using the 9/16” hex wrench, loosen hex bolt (B) to decrease tension or tighten bolt to increase tension according to the dentist’s preference. Tighten set screw after adjustments are finalized.
