Manipulator

The manipulator can be installed in many ways. We have supplied slim couplers for standard
truss and tube mounting. For other rigging options please contact sales@wahlberg.dk.
Mounting the manipulator horizontally
The manipulator can be mounted horizontally by attaching the included brackets and
slim couplers to the T-slots of the aluminium profile. Please see picture below.
For under 3 meters use a minimum of two brackets. For longer manipulators use a
minimum of three brackets.
Mounting the manipulator vertically
The manipulator can be mounted in the vertical position by attaching a single included
bracket to either end of the manipulator. Please see picture below.
Mounting the load
The load can be mounted on the sliding wagon. Be aware of the load capacities and
avoid stick out that will cause either of the limit switches to be unreachable.

Connecting power

The manipulator takes input power through Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 NAC3PX (F/M).
Input voltage range is 100VAC to 240VAC drawing up to 300W of power.
The through connection also takes input power through Neutrik powerCON TRUE1
NAC3PX (F/M). Input voltage range is up to 10A/240VAC.
Connecting DMX
The manipulator uses DMX as a control signal. It uses the standard DMX 512
1990+DMX512A through the 5 pole XLR plug where the pin 1 = shield, pin 2 = (-), and
pin 3 = (+). Pin 4 and 5 are not connected.
The through connection control signal is tested for the same DMX standard with same
pin configuration. Note that due to the standard the signal must be daisy-chained from
the wagon. It cannot be daisy-chained from the motor box hence the signal should be
terminated at the wagon.
For controlling multiple manipulators a DMX splitter is advised.
The maximum rating for other signals are 1A/48V.
