Mute Function
Pressing the [MUTE] button turns off the telephones microphone so that the other party
cannot hear you, but you can hear them. Pressing the [MUTE] button again restores
connection to the microphone so the other party can again hear you. The LCD will display
"MUTE" while the function is active.
Phone Book Function
You can store 70 numbers and names in the phone book, refer to the "FUNCTION
OPERATIONS", under the "PHONEBOOK" in the Owner's Manual for details.
Speed Dial Programming
1. Press and release the speed dial button to be programmed
2. The LCD will show the existing number programmed in that location. If no number has
been programmed the LCD will read: "Memory Is Empty"
3. Immediately press the same speed dial button again and hold it until you see the cursor
flashing on the right side of the LCD
4. Enter the phone number then press SAVE
5. The cursor will now be flashing on the first letter of the name line of the LCD (on the left
side of the LCD)
6. Using the keypad, enter the name (this will overwrite any existing text)
7. Use the < and then the Delete key to remove and unwanted text
8. Press SAVE
9. LCD will display "SAVE OK" and return to main screen after 4 seconds
