Message Waiting Lamp
If you subscribe to "Voice Messaging" (a service offered by your telephone company)
this lamp will flash whenever a new message is on the system. This light should stop
flashing after the call is retrieved.
LCD Contrast Function
The contrast on your LCD screen is adjustable. To adjust the contrast, press the
next to the LCD. Use the
MENU Function
Use this button to access a variety of the phones functions displayed on the LCD.
DELETE Function
Use this button to delete an entry or to exit from a menu.
SAVE Function
Use this button to save numbers to your phone book feature.
ENTER Function
Use this key to enter new phonebook records or to dial a number from the Caller ID or
Dialed Call records.
Buttons Function
Use these buttons to scroll through menu functions, Caller ID, Dialed Calls and
Phonebook records.
HOLD Function
To put a caller on hold, Press the HOLD button. A red LED indicator on the button will
light up and the LCD will display "L# Holding" Indicating that that either L1 or L2 is
on hold. To continue the conversation, just press the LINE button that is holding.
NOTE: In the HOLD mode, you can hang up the handset. To resume the conversation,
just pick up the handset.
Multiple LINE function (LINE 1, LINE 2 buttons)
This phone supports 2-lines for making and receiving calls. Each line button has a red
LED indicator that tells you what is happening on each line. When the indicator light is:
Off –line is not use
On – line is in use
Flashing – incoming call is being received
Flashing (HOLD indicator LED is illuminated) – line is on hold
Receiving a phone call
To answer an incoming call:
1. The flashing red indicator light will flash on the line button of the incoming
call.
2. Lift the handset or press SPEAKER to answer the call. The phone will
automatically select the ringing line.
Making a phone call
1. Press LINE 1 or LINE 2 button, and lift the handset or press the SPEAKER
button. Wait for a dial tone.
2. Dial the telephone number you want to call.
